We are very health conscious: our products do not contain added sugar, unless you want them to. The sweetness of our bars comes from their ingredients, such as dried fruits.
What no added sugar means on the label
Under EU rules, the claim no added sugars may be used only if the product contains no added mono- or disaccharides and no other food used for its sweetening properties. If the ingredients contain sugars naturally, the label must also state that the product contains naturally occurring sugars.
Sugar-free is a different, stricter claim: it may be used only if the product contains no more than 0.5 g of sugars per 100 g.
